Burg Hohenzollern

Bisingen, Baden-Württemberg

This neo-Gothic castle crowns an isolated, 855-metre cone of a mountain and is the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern family. The present three-wing complex, the third castle on the site, was built from 1850 to plans by Friedrich August Stüler and finished in 1867. Highlights include the treasury, the Counts' Hall and the Christ Chapel.
