Historische Kornbrennerei
Hilden, Nordrhein-Westfalen
Grain spirit was once distilled here, and the old Vogelsang distillery still shows how corn schnapps and other spirits were made, complete with a steam engine installed in 1887. This industrial monument belongs to the Wilhelm Fabry Museum, Hilden's town museum. It is named after Wilhelm Fabry, a local surgeon regarded as the founder of scientific surgery. Changing exhibitions explore the themes of art and medicine.
