Heimatmuseum Kinderhaus

This local history museum introduces Kinderhaus, a district in the north of Münster. It occupies the Pfründnerhaus, a building from the late 17th century on the grounds of the former leprosy hospital, opposite St. Josef church. The displays follow the story of the neighbourhood, which grew within a few decades from a small community into a district of around 16,000 people. The museum opened in 1993.
