Heimathaus und Zollmuseum

Perwang am Grabensee, Oberösterreich

This wooden house from 1767 was built by Michaelbeuern Abbey for its servants, and between 1779 and 1809 it served as a customs post on the border between Austria and the Archbishopric of Salzburg. Inside you will find customs uniforms, strongboxes, receipts, overview maps and the customs regulations of Raffelstetten. A local history collection fills out the visit in the same protected building.
