Ferdinand Porsche Erlebniswelt "fahr(T)raum"

Mattsee, Salzburg

A tribute to Ferdinand Porsche, the fahr(T)raum in Mattsee traces car building from 1899: an electric carriage, sports cars from 1910 and, by the house's own account, the world's largest Austro-Daimler collection. The Traktor-Stadl shows how farming became mechanised, and historic aircraft stand in a hall of their own. There is a racing simulator, a children's workshop and a Carrera track, and you can ride through the Salzburg Lake District in a car nearly 100 years old.
