Wesselburen, Schleswig-Holstein
Dedicated to the dramatist Friedrich Hebbel, born in Wesselburen, this museum occupies the 18th-century Old Parish Bailiff's House, where Hebbel lived and worked for seven years. Ten period rooms display furniture, household items, pictures and documents, including the Vienna Room, which recalls his most successful years. The museum also holds a specialist library of over 6,000 works on Hebbel.
