Bauernhausmuseum Lindberg

Lindberg, Bayern

This open-air museum stands on its original site: the Kuchlerhaus, a 27-metre timber farmhouse, was lived in until 1974 and the farmstead is first recorded in 1575. The grounds also include a retirement cottage, an inn and a wooden chapel from 1885, one of the few old ones left in the Bavarian Forest. Inside the chapel hang old votive panels, and old gravestones line its outer wall.
