This municipal local-history museum occupies an 1876 Neo-Renaissance building on Bahnhofstraße, originally built to train craftsmen and tradespeople so that a rural region could keep pace with industrialisation. The displays grow out of the local heritage society's collection. The building also holds a richly decorated festival hall.
