Deutsches Harmonikamuseum

Trossingen, Baden-Württemberg

Harmonicas, accordions, Jew's harps, sheng and other reed instruments fill this music museum in the old Hohner factory grounds. Hohner has its roots in Trossingen, so the story of the harmonica industry is part of the visit. The collection holds about 25,000 harmonicas, many concertinas and squeezeboxes, and plenty of period packaging. Among the highlights is the world's largest playable button accordion.
