Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg

A complete railway depot from 1933, right on the Danube. Visitors can see the administration building, the seven-stall roundhouse, a fully working 21-metre turntable and the surviving coaling facilities. The four-hectare open-air site holds 26 steam locomotives, several diesels, and passenger, sleeping and goods cars from the steam era. The model railways are archived and not on view.
