Fritz-Reuter-Literaturmuseum

Stavenhagen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Fritz Reuter (1810–1874), the foremost writer in Low German, was born in this house on Stavenhagen's market square, and it now tells of his life and work. It has been a museum since 1949. A reference library on Low German literature and Reuter's reception complements the displays.
