Friesisches Museum Niebüll-Deezbüll

Niebüll, Schleswig-Holstein

A listed Uthland Frisian longhouse more than 200 years old in Deezbüll houses this local-history museum. It shows how North Frisians built, lived and worked before industrialisation. Exhibits include kitchen utensils and tools for candle-making and roof-thatching, drawn from a collection of antiquities begun by a local pastor in the 19th century.
