Nolde Museum Seebüll

Neukirchen, Schleswig-Holstein

On a raised mound in North Frisia stands the former home and studio of Emil and Ada Nolde, now showing the painter's work. The brick house, built in the late 1920s with Bauhaus influences and deliberately unlike the Frisian farmhouses around it, later gained a picture hall. The garden, laid out to Nolde's own designs, is part of the visit.
