Freilichtmuseum Klausenhof
Herrischried, Baden-Württemberg
A farmhouse dating from 1424 anchors this open-air museum in the Hotzenwald, part of the southern Black Forest. It is among the oldest Black Forest houses and one of the last surviving Hotzen houses. Around it you will find a village smithy, a bakehouse, a cart shed, a farm garden and a wooden water-dividing post. The old Lindauer sawmill, which worked until 1950, belongs to the site too.
