Everything here revolves around narrow-gauge field railways of 600 mm gauge, with the vehicles kept in working order. The museum in Bockenheim is regarded as the largest technology museum in Frankfurt and is part of the Route of Industrial Heritage in the Rhine-Main region. Operations began in 1976, originally on the site of a gravel pit.
