Europäisches Spargelmuseum

Asparagus is the sole subject at this specialist museum in Schrobenhausen, which uses texts, photographs and historic tools to show how the crop is grown and how the techniques have changed. It occupies the old Amtsturm, a two-storey tower in the medieval town wall at the southwest edge of the old town. Outside in the castle park you can see specialised ploughs and a model asparagus field.
