Carvings, bobbin lace and passementerie illustrate Ore Mountain folk art, while other displays follow the history of Annaberg and the region's silver mining. The museum also owns a 1572 work from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Younger and a large collection of fine pewter. The Im Gößner visitor mine is attached to it.
