Erinnerungsort Badehaus

Wolfratshausen, Bayern

Built in 1939 as a bathhouse for the men of the Föhrenwald camp, this building served the nearby munitions workers, whose simple homes had no tubs or showers. After the war it became the main sanitary building for the displaced persons living in the camp. Today it is a volunteer-run museum documenting the history of the Waldram settlement since 1939, and a place of learning and meeting for different generations, nations and religions.
