Buchheim Museum
Bernried am Starnberger See, Bayern
The building is shaped like a ship on the shore of Lake Starnberg, with a long jetty reaching out over the water. It holds Lothar-Günther Buchheim's collection, with a wide range of Expressionist art, plus folk art and African and Asian pieces he gathered on his travels. Paintings and drawings by Buchheim himself are shown too, and sculptures stand in the park.
