Erdöl-Erdgas-Museum Twist

Set in the largest oil fields in Germany, this museum explains how the Emsland and Bentheim region came to drill for oil and gas. You will see technical equipment used in exploration and production, and learn how these resources formed geologically. The story begins with the first finds in 1938 and 1942. Since 2009 the museum has occupied a purpose-built building.
