Dreiländermuseum
Lörrach, Baden-Württemberg
Where Germany, France and Switzerland meet, this museum tells the story of the Upper Rhine borderland in a bilingual German and French permanent exhibition, covering past, present and what sets the region apart. It also collects South Baden art and art ceramics. The building dates from 1755 and was once the Lörrach Pädagogium, where the poet Johann Peter Hebel lived and worked from 1783 to 1791; a collection on his life and work is shown here.
