Deutsches Thermometermuseum Geraberg
Geraberg, Thüringen
From Galileo's first experiments to modern electronic methods, this technical museum traces how temperature measurement developed. It stands in the centre of Geraberg for a reason: technical glass instruments were long a main industry in the Thuringian Forest, and many exhibits come from the area, including Gehlberg, Stützerbach, Ilmenau and Geraberg itself.
