Centre Charlemagne

Aachen, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Aachen's city museum tells the story of the town in a listed administrative building on the Katschhof, built by Gerhard Graubner between 1958 and 1962. Its name honours Charlemagne, Aachen's best-known historical figure. It is also the starting point of the Route Charlemagne, which links the city's key sites in history, art and architecture.
