Centralne Muzeum Jeńców Wojennych

Opole, opolskie

This museum stands in Łambinowicy (Lamsdorf), on the grounds of former prisoner-of-war camps that operated here during the Franco-Prussian War and both world wars. It tells the story of POWs, above all within the German and Soviet camp systems, and commemorates those who died here. Visitors see exhibitions as well as surviving remains of the camps themselves.
