The museum stands on the grounds of a former porcelain factory founded in 1894 by the Reinhold Schlegelmilch firm. It tells the story of a works whose wares were well known in Europe and the USA, and whose production resumed after the war. Besides exhibitions there are workshops and educational activities, making it a good day trip in the Opole region.
