Berliner U-Bahn-Museum

Berlin, Berlin

Housed in the old lever signal box of Olympia-Stadion station, which operated from 1931 to 1983, this small museum tells the story of the Berlin U-Bahn. The signal box's side rooms hold numerous exhibits collected by a volunteer society. It opened in 1997 and is the third underground railway museum in Europe, after Moscow and Budapest.
