Schloss Charlottenburg

Berlin, Berlin

Once the summer residence of the Prussian kings, this palace grew in stages between 1695 and 1791, and its interiors range from Baroque through Rococo to Neoclassical. It was badly damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt faithfully to the original. Behind it, the park on the Spree began as a French garden and was later reworked in English style. Within the grounds you will find the Belvedere, the Mausoleum and the New Pavilion.
