Bauernhof (Anlage), Heimatmuseum
Schwarzenberg, Vorarlberg
Painter Angelika Kauffmann was born in Chur but stayed close to her father's home village, and this museum in Schwarzenberg is devoted to her. It occupies the Kleberhaus of 1556, an old farmhouse in the village's traditional timber style. The former farm wing was converted into about 220 square metres of exhibition space, keeping the old tie beams and dark log walls. The local Heimatmuseum is housed in the same building.
