Archäologisches Hegau-Museum

Singen (Hohentwiel), Baden-Württemberg

The tour covers 15,000 years of life in the Hegau, from the last Ice Age to the early Middle Ages. Thirteen rooms in Singen's palace show finds from the prehistory of southwestern Germany. In the cellar you can also see the minerals, fossils and butterflies collected by the pharmacist Albert Funk, whose digs started the museum.
