Aquazoo – Löbbecke Museum

Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen

Living animals and natural history displays sit side by side here: fish, reptiles and corals in tanks and terrariums, alongside specimens, models and hands-on stations. Around 560 species are shown across 25 themed rooms and a tropical hall, supported by some 1,400 natural history exhibits. The collection began with sea shells gathered by Theodor Löbbecke, and it still holds type material for several mollusc species. You will find it in Düsseldorf's Nordpark.
