Schifffahrtsmuseum (Düsseldorf)

Inside the historic castle tower on the Rhine bank, this museum follows river shipping on the Rhine: shipbuilding, trade and travel on the water, and the ecology of the river. Exhibition rooms run from the old vaulted cellar to the upper floor, with a multimedia show, historic pictures, films and archive material. A café at the top looks out over the old town, the river and the ships passing by.
