A disused brickworks in Bretzenheim now houses a brickworks museum on its sprawling grounds. Production began in the late 19th century with a field kiln, was industrialised from 1904 with a Hoffmann ring kiln and machinery, and ran until 1972. The site survives as an industrial monument and doubles as a community education and cultural centre.
