Alte Universität (Eppingen)

This half-timbered house from the 15th century, on the corner of Altstadtstraße and Fleischgasse, earned its name when Heidelberg University took refuge here during the plague of 1564/65. Since the 1950s it has housed a local history museum. The building itself, with a coat-of-arms stone of the Palatinate and the Gemmingen family, is part of the visit.
