Albert-Schweitzer-Haus (Königsfeld)

Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg

Albert Schweitzer had this house built as a home for his family, because his ailing wife Helene needed the healthy air of the spa town of Königsfeld. The single-storey half-timbered building, with its tall mansard roof and walls clad in wooden shingles, now serves as a museum and memorial. Since 2001 it has also been a forum for information and exchange.
