Apothekenmuseum Schiltach

This museum grew out of the Rats-Apotheke, a pharmacy founded in 1837 on Schiltach's market square. Its Biedermeier dispensing room in burr wood is a highlight in itself. You also see the laboratory, an old distillation apparatus and the medicine cellar, plus tools for making pills, suppositories and ointments, travel medicine chests, powder compacts and early drug advertising.
