Cars and clocks share one roof here. The museum traces how ordinary people's mobility developed after 1945 and the history of Black Forest clockmaking, with everyday scenes of the period. It stands on the site of the historic Hamburg-American clock factory of 1875, where industrial monuments remain, including an Art Nouveau transformer station that now houses a diesel museum.
