Internationales Wind- und Wassermühlen-Museum

Spread over a grounds of about 15 hectares in Gifhorn, this open-air museum gathers windmills and watermills from different countries. The 13 mills are either originals or faithful reconstructions, each set in surroundings typical of where it came from. Historic tools and objects from milling and the miller's trade are displayed around the site, so a walk through the grounds takes you from mill to mill across several countries.
