Ziegeleimuseum Glindow
Werder (Havel), Brandenburg
On the grounds of a historic brickworks near Werder, this industrial monument shows how brick was once made. Hand-moulded clay bricks and shaped bricks, mainly for heritage restoration, are still produced here and fired in a historic ring kiln. Glindow bricks were shipped by barge along the Havel to building sites in Brandenburg, Potsdam and Berlin.
