Spinning, weaving and fabric printing are the heart of this museum. The permanent exhibition follows how textiles are made and how these crafts developed in Augsburg, Swabia and Bavaria, with a look at future trends too. It is housed in a production hall of the former worsted spinning mill in Augsburg's textile quarter, an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
