Naturhistorisches Museum (Mainz)

Biology and earth science of Rhineland-Palatinate and its partner country Rwanda are the focus of this natural history museum, the largest of its kind in the state. Part of the displays are in the former Poor Clares' convent of St. Klara, whose foundation stone was laid in 1272, so natural history meets medieval convent history under one roof.
