Grenzlandmuseum Eichsfeld
Heilbad Heiligenstadt, Thüringen
On the site of the former Duderstadt/Worbis border crossing, the museum uses the surviving buildings to tell the story of German division, the East German border regime and the Green Belt. The exhibition covers more than 1,000 square metres. Outside, a circular walking trail follows the line between Thuringia and Lower Saxony.
