Burg Arras
Alf, Rheinland-Pfalz
This hill castle above Alf on the Moselle dates from the early 12th century. A fortified Roman horse station already stood on the site in late antiquity. The castle first appears in records in 1120, when its chapel was consecrated, and later documents mention a gate, chapel, well, curtain wall, ditch and tower.
