This Baroque palace with three wings was built between 1711 and 1718 for Lothar Franz von Schönborn, Prince-Bishop of Bamberg, to designs by Johann Dientzenhofer. The staircase, the Garden Hall and the Marble Hall are the highlights. It still belongs to the Counts of Schönborn.
