In the south of Worms' synagogue quarter stands a house whose medieval parts date from the 14th century. Over the centuries it served as a Talmud school, hospital, dance and wedding hall, rabbi's residence and old people's home. Today it houses the Jewish Museum of Worms, which tells the story of the city's Jewish community, along with the city archive.
