Museumsanlage

Set within an old monastery wall, the former farmyard of a Benedictine monastery now holds six historic buildings in a small park. They house several museums: a local history museum in the Findorffhaus of 1753 on farm life in the Teufelsmoor, a shipping and peat-barge museum, a hands-on museum and the Norddeutsches Vogelmuseum. A wickerwork barn and an old smoke house complete the site.
