Gedenk- und Bildungsstätte Andreasstraße

Inside a former Stasi remand prison by Erfurt's Domplatz, this memorial recalls political imprisonment in East Germany. In December 1989 citizens occupied the Stasi district office here, the first such occupation, so the building joins repression with liberation.
