A former woad warehouse in Erfurt's city centre houses this natural history museum. The permanent exhibition covers forest, field, city and earth history. In the atrium a 350-year-old oak rises through every floor, while the vaulted cellar holds minerals from the Godehard Schwethelm collection and a rocking Noah's Ark filled with animals.
