Żywiecki Park Etnograficzny w Ślemieniu

Ślemień, śląskie

This open-air museum in Ślemień, opened in 2012 on more than 6 hectares, recreates the layout and buildings of a typical Beskid Żywiecki village. Seventeen historic structures, mostly wooden, have been moved here, among them an 1900 school from Rychwałd with two classrooms divided by an entrance hall. It is a good place to see the traditional architecture and folk culture of the Żywiec region.
