Wilhelmsbau

Marburg, Hessen

The south hall of Marburg's Landgrave's Castle holds a permanent exhibition on the town's history. Around 40 items from the 12th to the 20th century are grouped into three themes: the town's houses, clothing, and the everyday things people used. Accompanying commentary builds up a rounded picture of the university town. The building belongs to the university's Museum of Art and Cultural History.
