Wilhelm Kienzl-Museum Schauplatz Evangelimann

The Hellerhof in Paudorf is where a case of arson around 1820 took place, the story behind Wilhelm Kienzl's 1895 opera Der Evangelimann. In a farm building dating from 1651, original items from the composer's estate, loans, printed scores and photographs document his life. The focus is the opera and its link to this very farmstead.
